I needed to clean out the garage, so the Merc got pushed out into the sun:
Ignore the wheels and the stance, that will be corrected once it's running. I plan to airbag it...

I have a good wheel to use, disregard the S-10 wheel...

Here is one of the Thunderbird buckets mocked in place. It isn't even close to the Lincoln seat mounts:
I stuck a piece of 1X1 in there to boost the back of the seat so it sat level...I'll have to fab up some seat brackets I see...

But for the first time, I have an idea of how I will sit in the car, hold the wheel and be able to hang my arm out the window. All was good in those departments...
Several people have asked for pics of the interior...here it is...so far. I picked up a set of '66 Thunderbird seats, and started mocking them up. The rear backs fit nice. The rear bottom isn't even close. It doesn't fit the floor at all. My options are:  1) Redo the stock T-Bird seat springs to work with the new floorpan, or 2) use the stock Lincoln rear cushion and use the T-Bird rear back seats. I have to go get the Lincoln seat out of storage to see what is the best route...
I got "the good" rockers from Green Mountain, so I started mocking them up.
